I've been using my Asus TUF FX505GT laptop for around 4-5 years, and lately, it's been crashing during games, especially those that are really GPU-intensive. Everyday tasks like browsing and watching videos work perfectly fine. Some games like Minecraft and Valorant run okay but also have crashes occasionally. However, others crash just 2-3 minutes after starting. It's strange because it can handle benchmarks like Cinebench and Unigine without any problems. I've already tried reinstalling Windows, display drivers, repasting the CPU/GPU, and even swapped out the RAM, SSD, and display. I'm at a loss for what else to check!

Have you checked your laptop's temperatures while gaming? If it's overheating, that might be causing the crashes. Try monitoring the temperatures during gameplay to see if they’re spiking.
Are there any error messages in the Event Viewer? It might be a motherboard issue, or it could relate to drivers failing.
The Event Viewer only shows Event ID 1000 for the crashes, with most details just being zeroes and unknowns.
I got 71°C for the GPU and 74°C for the CPU when gaming.
