Why do my games keep freezing and making my PC unresponsive?

I've been experiencing a frustrating issue where my whole PC crashes when I try to play certain games, specifically Path of Exile 2 and Star Rail. After playing for a few minutes, the games become non-responsive, and if I try to close them, my PC completely freezes up. I've just reinstalled Windows and updated my drivers, but I'm not sure if I've covered everything. My setup includes an Intel Core i9-14900k and an AMD Radeon RX6800. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

First off, make sure your system meets the requirements for both games. This can sometimes cause crashes if your hardware isn't compatible. It sounds like you've done a fresh Windows install, but double-check that all drivers are properly updated, especially the graphics card drivers. Sometimes, a missing or outdated driver can lead to these issues. Also, if Star Rail started crashing after upgrading your CPU, there might be a software incompatibility or settings that need adjustment. Good luck!

Yeah, it's worth checking the game settings too. Sometimes lowering the graphic settings can help if the PC is struggling to keep up.
