I've been having a frustrating issue where any game I play loses 40+ fps whenever I move my mouse. It's weird because the frame rate stays normal when I'm using the keyboard to move. I've tried adjusting the polling rate, but that didn't help at all. Here's my setup: I have a 4060 laptop GPU, an Intel Ultra 7 165H CPU, and I'm using an AW720M Alienware mouse. Anyone have an idea what might be causing this?

Try changing your resolution or lowering some game settings like render distance. When you move with the keyboard, the game doesn’t have to work as hard since the viewing angle is pretty static. Moving the mouse changes everything quickly which could cause the lag.
It sounds like a vram usage problem. You might want to check how much vram your games are using when you experience the lag. In my experience, that's often the culprit for issues like this.
I just checked my vram and it seems to be normal, around 1.8 out of 8 gigs. So that might not be the issue for me.
