Why Do Only One of My Monitors Work at a Time?

I've got two monitors, and here's the issue: when I connect just the first one, it works perfectly. Same goes for the second monitor when it's plugged in alone. However, when I try to connect both monitors at the same time, only the second one gets recognized by my computer. I've had these monitors for months without problems, but the only change recently is that I turned the power switch off inside my computer. I'm stuck and could really use some help!

First off, try checking your display settings to see if both monitors are detected there. If they show up, select the second monitor and ensure you choose the option to "extend desktop to this display." It might just be a simple setting that needs adjustment!

I tried that, but unfortunately, it only recognizes one monitor at a time.
