I've been experiencing a strange issue when taking photos of projector screens with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. The photos always have these weird rainbow bands or colored streaks across them, which aren't visible to the naked eye. It's really annoying, especially during lectures when I'm just trying to capture clear notes from the screen. I wonder if this is related to the projector technology or how the iPhone camera captures images. Is there a way to fix this, like a setting or an app? I'd love to hear any tips or explanations about what's going on.

The issue you're seeing might be due to the type of projector you're using. If it's a DLP projector, it has a color wheel that can cause those rainbow effects in photos. They are known for producing chromatic aberrations when captured on camera, especially if the capture speed doesn’t sync well with the projector's output.
I’m not sure what type of projector it is, but here's an image of what it looks like from my end.
