Why Do Some Games Look Terrible on My New Gaming PC?

I recently got a pre-built gaming PC with an RTX 5060 Ti and a Ryzen 7 7700, but I'm facing some frustrating issues. While most games run smoothly, some titles look terrible, even when I set the graphics to high or ultra in the settings. It seems like the game just doesn't reflect those settings, staying in low-quality graphics despite what the menu shows. I'm really new to PC building, so I'm hoping someone can help me understand what's going wrong here.

First off, check where your monitor is connected. Make sure it’s plugged into the GPU and not the motherboard. That could affect your graphics quality a lot!

Yeah, definitely check that. If it is plugged into the GPU, another thing to look at is your power settings in Windows. Sometimes, those can throttle performance unexpectedly.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll double-check both of those things.
