I've been having a frustrating issue lately. Whenever I connect my HP Omnibook 7 laptop running Windows 11 to my home Wi-Fi network, all other devices connected to my Eero 6+ start dropping off or losing internet connectivity. This problem started recently, and I'm trying to figure it out. Just to give you full context, my setup includes a fiber optic connection, and I actually bought this laptop new in October 2025. The strange part is that I had a software update for my Eero just before the problems began. I've tried various troubleshooting steps including restarting the modem, changing the Wi-Fi password, and contacting both Eero and my ISP for help, but nothing has worked so far. They even replaced my modem, and I made sure everything was updated. I've tried changing DNS, updating network adapter drivers, and assigning a specific IP to my laptop, but I'm still facing the same issue. I could really use some fresh ideas or insights into what might be going on!

I had a similar issue where a software bug caused my Eero to drop connections. I think they rolled back my firmware too, so you might bring that up if you chat with support again. It's good to be persistent with them!
It sounds like you’ve already done quite a bit of troubleshooting! When assigning a specific IP to your laptop in the Eero app, make sure it's set for DHCP in your laptop’s settings too. You might want to check if the IP you set is actually showing up when you run 'ipconfig' in Command Prompt. Also, see if your laptop can ping the Eero gateway. If it doesn’t have an ethernet port, that could limit your options, but some USB adapters might help. Good luck!
I’ll have to check the DHCP setting. Pinging the gateway is something I haven't tried yet. Thanks for the suggestion!

I’ll definitely mention that to them. It seems like the firmware could be worth investigating!
