I've been having a frustrating experience with the Find My feature for my devices. Whenever I need to locate something, it seems like the last ping always shows a location that I know isn't right. It's either saying that the location can't be found or it shows that the last connection was hours ago, even when I had the item with me just recently. What gives? How can I effectively use Find My to keep track of my things when it feels like it only works if I'm directly connected?

What devices are you trying to track? I have multiple Apple devices, and I've never had much trouble. But I know the AirPods 2 can sometimes be tricky if they're not within range. Any idea how you're using them?
Have you checked if Bluetooth is turned off? Sometimes that's the main issue. If your Bluetooth is always on, maybe you're connecting to multiple devices, which can cause some confusion with location accuracy.
Yeah, my Bluetooth is always active too. I think there's something up with how it tracks different devices. It's frustrating!
Don't worry, you're not alone! I faced similar issues like 'no connection - cannot ping' and it often turns out I left my devices in obvious places like the kitchen. I feel like people can recover their AirPods easily, but when I lose mine, they somehow become useless bricks!
Exactly! It's so annoying! It's like the moment I misplace mine, it's like they vanish into thin air!

I'm trying to track my second-generation AirPods. I bought them just a couple of weeks ago, and I lost them at work today. The last ping was 11 hours ago, which makes no sense since I had them in my ears before the holiday party!
