I've been driving my car for a while and I've noticed something strange every winter. Whenever the temperature drops below 30 degrees, my Bluetooth refuses to connect to my phone; it just stays stuck on "initializing Bluetooth device...". This issue only happens in the cold, as the Bluetooth works perfectly fine at other times of the year. I'm curious about how cold weather could affect the Bluetooth functionality. Has anyone else experienced this, and what might be causing it?

It could be a loose connection somewhere, possibly in the antenna. When it gets cold, materials like metal can contract, and this might affect the connection. When it warms up a bit, everything expands back into place, and it works fine.
I totally get your frustration! This happened to me last winter too. It’s really annoying, but I thought I was the only one experiencing this crazy issue. You’re definitely not alone on this one!
It sounds like a timing issue with some component in the Bluetooth circuitry. Cold can make certain silicon chips glitchy because temperature changes affect signal timing. So, it's not really the Bluetooth waves acting up, but rather a chip that's on the edge of its spec when it gets cold.
