I've been dealing with a frustrating issue where my computer randomly freezes about 10 times a day. After I reboot, it works fine for a while but then freezes up again. I've run some diagnostics, including MemTest86, which failed. I thought it might be the RAM, so I replaced it, but the problem persists. I've been monitoring the CPU temps with CPUID HWMonitor, and they seem fine, averaging around 55°C. Additionally, I've updated all drivers and run antivirus scans, which turned up nothing suspicious. I even cleaned out the dust from my PC. My system specs are: Windows 11 Pro, AMD Ryzen 9 5900x, and a MEG X570 Unify Motherboard. A concerning detail I just noticed is that my GPU (Geforce 3080) isn't showing up in my System Summary, but I can find it under System Information > Components > Display. Could this be related to the freezing issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated since I'm hesitant to buy a new CPU when I may not need to. Thanks in advance!

Given the MemTest failure and your GPU not showing properly in the BIOS, it's likely a hardware issue with either the CPU or motherboard. If you're not overclocking the RAM and still facing problems, it might be wise to look at the motherboard as the main suspect.
If MemTest failed, it’s important to test each RAM stick individually to rule them out. Try running MemTest with just one stick installed, then switch to the other, and check all RAM slots as well. Sometimes, it's a bad slot rather than the RAM itself.
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll try testing the sticks one by one. It’s brand new RAM, so I hope it’s not an issue there, but I’ll check the slots too.
Replacing the motherboard sounds tricky. Is there a way to confirm which part is faulty without replacing them first?
