Hey there! Lately, my desktop PC has been shutting down unexpectedly while I'm gaming or even just browsing the web. After it shuts down, it turns back on by itself, but I run into a black screen and my keyboard doesn't light up. I'm looking for any ideas on what's causing this issue. Thanks a lot for your help!

It sounds like you might want to look at your power supply unit (PSU) first. When a computer shuts down suddenly and fails to complete the power-on self-test (which is why you're seeing that black screen), it usually indicates that there's an issue with the power supply. This could be due to failing capacitors or not providing enough wattage for your GPU when it's under load. I also recommend reseating your RAM and GPU—sometimes loose connections can lead to these kinds of problems.
Just wanted to let you know that I think you might be spot on about the power supply. My PC would do the same, and replacing the PSU fixed it. Good luck!

Thanks for the tips! I've already reseated my RAM and reconnected the PSU to the motherboard, and it hasn't shut down yet. Fingers crossed it stays this way! I'll let you know how it goes.
