I'm posting for a friend who's having a really frustrating issue with his Gigabyte B650M Aorus Elite AX motherboard. Every time he powers on his PC, a BIOS message pops up asking whether to enable X3D mode. He always selects 'no', but then a new CPU installation screen shows up as well. Despite updating the BIOS, these prompts keep appearing every single time he starts the computer. Any advice on how to resolve this annoying problem would be greatly appreciated!

Does your friend actually have an X3D CPU installed, like the 7800X3D? That could be the reason for the constant prompts.
It sounds like the issue might be related to the TPM settings. If he has BitLocker or any encryption enabled, that could trigger the "new CPU" screen. I'd check if he can reset the TPM or if there’s a prompt about it. Also, was this CPU a fresh install, or did he have another one previously? If it’s the same CPU, it shouldn’t keep asking after multiple boots.
