Why does my GPU temperature freeze at 22-25°C?

I own a TUF 3070 graphics card, and I've noticed that the temperature reading becomes stuck at around 22-25°C about 10-20 minutes after I start my PC. It doesn't match the actual idle temperature, which is closer to 30-35°C when the fans are off. Restarting my PC temporarily resolves the issue, but the temperature reading freezes again shortly after. Both Windows and other temperature monitoring apps show the same frozen reading. I'm not sure if this is a software glitch or a hardware problem.

I faced the exact same issue with my 3070! It's actually related to NVIDIA's drivers. I found that switching to an older version, like 572.83, fixed it for me without needing any extra tools. There's even a video by Jayz that explains it if you want to check it out!

Thanks for the tip! Should I stick with the older version you mentioned, or is it worth trying the newer 576.28 since it supposedly fixed some issues with monitoring after waking from sleep?
