I'm having an issue with my computer where my hard drive, specifically a SABRENT 1TB Rocket 4 Plus NVMe, becomes "unavailable" whenever I start using the GPU. My setup includes a SAMSUNG 870 EVO 500GB SATA, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, an AMD Ryzen 7 5800x, and a Corsair 850w power supply, among other components. Everything works fine under non-GPU intensive loads, but as soon as I launch a program that requires the GPU, I can't access the hard drive anymore. It stays at about 52C, and the only way to regain access is to restart my system. I've already removed and reseated the drive, reformatted it, and done a complete disassembly of the PC. After living with this setup for years without issues, it started acting up after I moved houses. I'm open to using an NVMe adapter card but I'd prefer not to spend a ton on a replacement drive.

It sounds like you might have a power supply issue. I noticed that power spikes when the GPU is activated and drops right after the hard drive disconnects. You might want to monitor your power supply more closely for any fluctuations, as it could be struggling under load.
Make sure to check your motherboard manual. The PCIe slot you have your graphics card in might be sharing lanes with the M.2 drive. If that’s the case, try moving your GPU to a different slot. Also, you should have two M.2 slots on your Asus X470-Pro, so that could be worth exploring as well. Don't forget to check that your BIOS is updated; sometimes these motherboards need an update to properly handle M.2 drives.
