Hey everyone! I'm having an issue with my hard drive that I'd love some help with. No matter what I'm downloading, it seems like my disk fills up too quickly, even though I know there's enough space before I start the download. It's like the system is misreporting how much space is available. I usually have a solid amount of empty space, but during large downloads, I see it getting filled up more than it should, eventually leading to warnings about low disk space. The only fix I found is restarting my computer, which refreshes the readout to show the correct used space, but if the download doesn't let you pause, I can't complete it. Any advice on what might be causing this? Thanks a ton!

You might want to try using TreeSizeFree or WinDirStat to see what’s actually taking up space while you download. TreeSize is much quicker, so you can get a visual representation of your disk usage in seconds. By the way, what's the size of your hard drive? It could help us figure this out better!
I’ve already run one of those programs and it shows the real space available. The drive thinks it’s full, but the downloads aren’t even making a dent in the actual space. I have an SSD, model ADATA SU630, and it’s 220GB with 5 years of use. Anything else you need to know?
