I have a Dyn*x TV, and I've noticed that the HDMI ports only function with some devices. My FireTV stick and Nintendo Switch connect without any issues, but my older gaming consoles, like the Wii U and N64, just won't work. Is there a setting I can tweak, or is it something more serious? Also, I know the cables are fine, as they work on other TVs without a problem.

If you're using converters for the Wii and N64, particularly something like a 480p upscaler, your TV might not support that resolution. Could you provide more details on what adapters you’re using? If you have a model number or can share a pic, that would really help identify the issue.
It sounds like the Wii U and N64 are likely using conversion cables because they don't support HDMI natively. My guess is that your converters might be running a specific HDMI version that your TV doesn’t recognize. The FireTV stick and the Switch connect directly via HDMI, so they support multiple HDMI versions, which is why they work just fine. Maybe check the specs on those converters you’re using!
I’m actually using the same HDMI cable for both the Switch and the N64, so I doubt it's the cable.

Oh, I should clarify—it's a Wii U, which supports HDMI without any conversion cables. I just use a regular HDMI cable for that, but I do use a 1080p upscaler for the N64.
