I've been having a weird issue with my iPhone 12 lately. While I'm charging it, I've noticed that the battery actually decreases instead of increasing. This just started happening last night. I think it might be a faulty charger since the battery does go up a percent or two at a certain angle for a bit, but then it just drops again. I'm also considering if the charging port needs to be cleaned out. Can anyone share their thoughts on what might be going on? Thanks!

You've got a couple of possible culprits. Have you tried cleaning the port or swapped out the charger to see if that helps? Sometimes a simple fix can make all the difference. Let us know how it goes!
I've faced a similar issue with my iPad before. It could be a problem with the battery or just a faulty charger. If you're using your device while it's charging, try to stop that. Also, ensure you're using a charger that matches the required wattage. Turning your device off while charging at night can also make a big difference.
It sounds like there might be some lint or debris in your Lightning port, which can definitely mess with the charging. If you want, you could try wireless charging instead. Also, make sure your charger has enough wattage; if you're using it while charging, it should be 18W or more with USB-C. That could really help things out!
