I've been having a recurring issue while playing Roblox Battle Grounds. Whenever I try to spam the Q key while holding down the A key, it seems to override my A input. This doesn't happen when I hold down D, but it's super frustrating because instead of side dashing as intended, sometimes I end up doing a front dash. I've already cleaned my keyboard as suggested on the roblox subreddit, but that didn't solve the problem. By the way, I have a mechanical keyboard, and it even double types sometimes. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

It might also be that something got stuck between your keys that you didn’t clean out properly, or there could be another issue with your keyboard itself. Just a thought!
What you're experiencing is likely due to keyboard ghosting, which happens because of how the keyboard wiring is set up. I recommend trying a different keyboard, preferably a gaming one that has anti-ghosting features, especially in the WASD area. That could really help with the issue!
Yeah, this is related to key rollover on your keyboard. Budget keyboards often have limitations where they can only register 3-4 keys at once, which is why any additional presses are ignored. If you’re pressing too many keys simultaneously, it can’t keep up. Switching to a higher-end keyboard with NKRO (N-Key Roll Over) can solve this problem since it can register every key press without conflict!
Actually, I’ve heard it’s due to how keys are arranged on a grid. When you press multiple keys, it leads to ambiguity in the circuits they share. Anti-ghosting keyboards are designed to fix this by having separate wiring for popular keys like WASD.
Ah beat me to it!
