Hey everyone! I'm having a frustrating issue where my laptop keeps restarting on its own instead of actually shutting down. I've tried a bunch of solutions I've found online, but nothing seems to work. Here's what I've done so far:
- Checked the device manager, but I don't see the option "Allow this device to wake the computer."
- Verified that the automatic startup option is unchecked in startup and recovery settings.
- Looked at power settings.
- Ran powercfg /lastwake and the Wake History Count is 0.
- Checked active requests with powercfg /requests, and everything shows as None.
- Also checked powercfg -waketimers, and it says there are no active timers.
- Used powercfg -devicequery wake_armed, and the result is None.
- Made sure everything in the task manager is disabled relevant to waking.
On top of this, everything is updated like the network adapters, but I can't find a power option to troubleshoot in the system settings. I'm open to any suggestions or help you all might have!

Have you checked whether you've installed the latest Windows update? I noticed that some users were having similar issues until they installed update KB5067036. It could help resolve the restart issue you're facing.

Yeah, I did update to KB5067036 on November 2nd, but it's still restarting after shut down.
