I'm having trouble accessing the internet on my laptop, even though I'm connected to Wi-Fi. I've tried various troubleshooting steps, including flushing the DNS, releasing and renewing my IP configuration, resetting the network, and even uninstalling and reinstalling my Wi-Fi adapter. To top it off, I've reinstalled Windows after hours of trying to fix this, but the issue still remains. What's puzzling is that all my other devices can access the internet without a hitch. Have you checked your router settings? Make sure DHCP is enabled for your network. You can access this by pressing Win + R, typing NCPA.CPL, and taking a look there.
It sounds like a tricky issue! Since your other devices work and you've already reinstalled Windows, it's likely a problem on the router side. Try rebooting your router and maybe forget and reconnect your Wi-Fi. Also, check for any MAC filtering or parental controls in the router settings. Setting your DNS to 8.8.8.8 can help too, just ensure you’re not getting a 169.x.x.x IP address. If you can connect using a mobile hotspot, your laptop's probably fine and it’s your router that needs attention.
