I have a Dell G16 7620 with an i7 12700H, a 3050ti GPU, and 16GB of DDR5 RAM. When I play demanding games, like Cyberpunk 2077, my laptop tends to shut down suddenly—about a 40% chance of it happening. In Overwatch, it shuts down immediately before even reaching the loading screen. These shutdowns are abrupt, without the usual shutdown process. I've checked the thermals, and they seem to hover around 80 degrees Celsius, so I doubt overheating is the culprit. What really confuses me is that after a shutdown, the charger stops functioning properly. The charger's light comes on, but the laptop doesn't recognize it until I power down the laptop, unplug the cord, and then plug it back in. I'm worried this might be related to the power cord or the brick (which is an OEM 180W), or possibly even a shorting issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked if your BIOS is up to date? I noticed that your last update was on January 14th. Sometimes, issues like this can be solved by making sure that all your system's software is current.

My BIOS version is 1.38, and according to Dell SupportAssist, that's the latest. I'm not sure how it all works, but could the combined wattage demand of the CPU and GPU be the problem? The power brick is rated for 180W, but the CPU can draw up to 190W, usually around 100W, and the GPU may need 85W on its own.
