I'm experiencing a frustrating issue where my monitor keeps going black while connected to my M4 Mac Mini. I've already tested the cable and monitor on other devices, and they work perfectly, so I'm convinced this is a problem with the Mac Mini itself. I had a similar problem with my previous M1 Mac Mini as well. I've reached out to Apple support, but they haven't been helpful. Can anyone provide any potential solutions or advice?

Have you tried checking for firmware updates for your monitor? Sometimes that can solve compatibility issues. Also, I had a similar issue before, and it was resolved by using a different cable. Even though your current cable works fine with other devices, some can be more sensitive, especially with the new M4 chips. I had a Dell monitor that was picky about cables too!
