I just set up my new monitor, which is a 27-inch LG QHD IPS model (27U631A-B) that should support 100Hz. However, when I try to set the refresh rate to 100Hz, the resolution drops to 800x600. My GPU is an Acer Intel Arc B580 with 12GB, and I've ensured that my drivers are updated. Besides, I have a Ryzen 7 7700 with 64GB of RAM, and currently, four out of five monitors are hooked up to this PC; the others are 1080p monitors connected via motherboard ports. What's going wrong here?

First off, make sure your GPU drivers are installed properly and that the monitor is connected directly to the GPU instead of the motherboard. Once you're set up, try switching to 1440p in the display settings after you set it to 100Hz. Sometimes, that can reset things. Let us know how it goes!
800x600? Wow, that's a throwback! You might want to try disconnecting all other monitors except this one and make sure it's connected to the GPU. If it works at 1440p @ 100Hz with just this monitor, then the issue probably isn't with the monitor itself. It could be something with the setup or configuration.
I did try disconnecting all the other monitors and it didn't change anything. I checked the user manual too, and it states that the max resolution is indeed 2560x1440 at 100Hz. The DP to HDMI cable is new and rated for 4K, but I'm starting to wonder if it can handle 1440p at 100Hz.
I'm certain the drivers are installed, and the monitor is plugged into the GPU. When I try to switch to 1440p after selecting 100Hz, it just drops back to 60Hz.
