I've noticed that my monitor turns off whenever I vacuum in the same room. I don't even have to be very close to the PC for this to happen. It's not a major issue, but I'm curious if this indicates a problem with my monitor. Sometimes, the monitor also turns off randomly when I'm playing games. Here are my specs: I have a Ryzen 9 7950x CPU, 64GB of DDR5 RAM, two 2TB M.2 SSDs, two 8TB HDDs, and an RTX 4090 graphics card. The monitor is an Acer Predator XB273UGXbmiipruzx running at 1440p and 240Hz with a 3-meter (pretty thick) Sharkoon cable. Any insights would be appreciated!

This type of issue often relates to wiring in your home. It could be that the electrical system has some inconsistencies which are exacerbated by the vacuum. If you're able to check the circuit arrangements, that could shed some light on why this happens. Just be careful with other appliances, as they might have a similar effect!
It sounds like the vacuum might be causing an electrical issue. If it’s on the same circuit as your monitor, turning it on or moving it could increase the load and cause the monitor to shut off. I suggest checking if it’s plugged into a surge protector and trying a different outlet outside the room if possible. That might help isolate the problem!
That's a good point! I noticed it only happens when moving the vacuum, so maybe there’s a spike in power usage then. I’ll definitely try moving the monitor to another circuit to test.

Right! I’ll make sure to look into that. It's good to know that other appliances could interfere too. I’ll check the circuits to see if they are shared.
