I just completed my first PC build, but every time I power it on, it goes straight to the BIOS. There's a red light on the motherboard indicating a BOOT issue, and I'm not sure what steps to take next to get it working properly.

Another option is to insert a USB drive with Windows on it and boot from that. If you have Windows already installed, check the boot menu to see if it's listed there.
Have you installed Windows or any operating system yet? That’s usually the first thing you need to do, otherwise, the PC won’t boot into anything besides BIOS.
Yeah, if you haven’t installed an OS yet, that’s probably the reason. You need to install Windows on it for it to boot correctly. Once you do that, it should stop going to BIOS.
