Why Does My PC Always Do Memory Training on Boot?

I recently built a new PC with some pretty solid components: an ROG Strix X870E-E motherboard, a 9800X3D CPU, and 32GB of G.Skill Flare X5 DDR5 RAM (2 sticks of 16GB each). I keep running into a problem where every time I boot or restart my computer, it shows a code 15, which indicates that it's performing memory training. I'm aware that memory issues are more common with AM5 setups using four sticks, but since I'm only using two, I'm unsure why this keeps happening. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Yeah, I've heard that issue can pop up with certain motherboards. It might be a firmware problem or how the RAM is seated. You could try reseating the RAM sticks or checking if there's a BIOS update available. Sometimes, resetting the BIOS settings to default helps too. It's a hassle, but it could solve the memory training issue!

Good to know! I might give that a shot. It's just annoying waiting so long during boot.

It sounds like your boot time is affected by that error code. A friend of mine had similar issues with her build, and it took about 45 seconds for Windows to load because of the memory training process. It might not be a huge deal, but if it's overly long, you could consider tweaking your BIOS settings or checking compatibility with your RAM.

Yeah, it's really frustrating—45 seconds feels like an eternity! I’ll look into BIOS settings next.
