I recently bought a pre-built PC, but I've noticed that whenever I touch the case, I get a small shock. It's not intense, but it's enough to make me wonder if I should be concerned about it.

Are you in a cold area right now? Sometimes in winter, heated indoor spaces can get very dry, leading to static electricity buildup. If the humidity is low, something as simple as touching your grounded PC case could create a little shock from static. It might be worth checking your home's humidity levels before jumping to any conclusions!

This issue could stem from a few things: either the outlet isn't properly grounded, you might have an exposed wire in the PC, or the power supply itself could be faulty. It's likely a grounding issue, but it wouldn't hurt to do a checkup.

That sounds concerning! It might mean your power supply is leaking current into the case, which can happen with lower quality parts. Pre-builts sometimes cut corners with the power supplies. If you can, I recommend returning it or getting it checked out.
