Why Does My PC Keep Crashing with BSOD While Gaming?

I recently built my first PC using an Intel i3 12100F and an AMD RX570. However, I'm running into issues with BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) whenever I try to game or significantly stress the system. Initially, I suspected my GPU was the problem, so I underclocked it to 1150MHz and it seemed stable for a while, but then the BSOD showed up again. Here are my specs: Asus H610K-M motherboard, Intel i3 13100F processor, AMD RX570 GPU, Coolermaster 600W PSU, and 32GB HyperX DDR4 RAM. I also tried running stress tests after disabling XMP to run the RAM at 2133MHz with Prime95, but the BSOD persists. Notably, it appears that the BSOD only occurs when both the CPU and GPU are under load—Prime95 alone runs fine, but as soon as I try a GPU test like Superposition benchmark, it crashes immediately.

You might want to check your GPU and CPU temperatures to see if they’re overheating. Sometimes overheating can lead to crashes, especially under load. Also, ensure your drivers are fully updated for both the GPU and motherboard. If the problem persists, consider running a memory diagnostic to see if there's an issue with the RAM.

Good point! I had similar issues, and it turned out my RAM was faulty after testing it with MemTest86. It might be worth a shot!

It sounds like you might have a power supply issue. Your Coolermaster 600W should be sufficient for those components, but if it's not stable or if it’s failing, that could definitely cause BSODs during load. Testing with a different PSU could help narrow it down.

Yeah, I had a similar situation where my PSU was the culprit. It was delivering unstable power, especially under load. Swapping it out solved my BSOD problems completely.
