Why Does My PC Keep Disconnecting from the Internet Every Few Minutes?

I'm having a frustrating issue where my PC disconnects from the internet roughly every three minutes after I turn it on. I've ruled out problems with my router since all my other devices connect just fine. My PC uses a TP-Link adapter, which is connected to another adapter that links to the router. I've tested the TP-Link with a laptop, and that worked perfectly, so I think the issue must be with my PC itself. If anyone has insights on what could be causing this, I'd really appreciate the help!

It sounds like it could be a driver issue. I'd recommend checking the Device Manager on your PC, finding your adapter, and uninstalling it. After that, reboot your computer. It should automatically look for hardware changes and reinstall a generic driver. Additionally, you can run "SFC /scannow" in an elevated command prompt to check for any other Windows issues. Good luck, network problems can be such a pain!

Curious about your setup! Do you really need to connect through two wireless extenders? I get it if running cables isn't an option because of your cats, but just wondering if that's causing any connection issues. The extra adapters could be adding to the problem.
