I've been experiencing random crashes with my PC over the last couple of days, and it's really starting to frustrate me. I've done some troubleshooting so far:
- I checked the RAM using Windows Memory Diagnostic, and it showed no issues.
- The SSD health is good and functioning normally.
- I stress tested both the GPU and CPU for an hour, and everything seemed fine.
- I updated the BIOS, GPU drivers, CPU drivers, and Windows.
- I even turned EXPO off and lowered the RAM MHz, but the problem persists.
Here's a quick rundown of my system specs:
- Gigabyte B650M S2H motherboard
- AMD Ryzen 5 7500F processor
- RTX 5060 TI with 16 GB
- 2x16GB DDR5 RAM running at 6000MHz
- OS is Windows 11 Pro
The only clue I've gotten from the Event Viewer is a Kernel-Power 41 error. I suspect my power supply unit (PSU) might be the culprit, but I have no idea how to test it. Could someone help me out? Thanks!

To check if the PSU is causing the issue, try putting a heavy load on your PC, like running a demanding game such as Quake 2 RTX. If the system crashes under load, that’s a strong indication your PSU may not be providing enough power. Good luck!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely give that a shot.
