I'm having a frustrating issue with my PC, which runs Windows 11 and has an AMD Radeon RX6700 graphics card. Whenever I drag something from my main monitor to my second one, my second monitor goes black for a moment. After that, everything slows down for about 1-2 seconds before my entire system completely freezes. The only way I can get it to work again is by holding the power button to force a shutdown. This freezing problem also happened randomly when I started playing Minecraft recently. I've already checked for and removed any viruses on my PC, but I'm really worried that there's something else going on. Does anyone have ideas on why this is happening and how I can fix it?

There could be several reasons for the freeze. First, make sure your power supply is adequate for your hardware. Next, double-check if your graphics card drivers are up to date. Also, inspect the HDMI or DisplayPort cables to see if they're damaged. Lastly, confirm if you’ve set any overclocking or undervolting on your hardware that might be causing instability.
Just to add on, since you mentioned using two monitors, sometimes the problem might be with how the displays are configured. Check your display settings to make sure everything is set up correctly. If the problem persists, you might want to try using just one monitor to see if the freezing still happens.
Sounds like a frustrating issue! To check if your power supply is sufficient, look up the wattage needs of all your components and see if your PSU meets that. For driver updates, you can go to the AMD website to find the latest drivers. As for the cables, visually inspect them for any bends or frays; that can cause issues too.
