I'm having a frustrating problem with my Windows 11 PC. It's connected via an ethernet cable and every few hours, the internet just stops working on my computer. Other devices like my phone and tablet still have internet access, so it's not a router issue. I've tried unplugging and replugging the ethernet cable, switching to Wi-Fi, and restarting my modem, but nothing works except rebooting my PC. It's driving me crazy!

You might want to try running the network troubleshooter built into Windows. It can help identify any underlying issues with your TCP stack. Sometimes third-party firewalls or malware can mess with your connection too, so it's worth checking those as well.
It sounds like your Ethernet adapter might be locking up. If you know what network interface card (NIC) you have, check if there are any firmware updates available. Also, using the Event Viewer in Windows can help you see if there are any system errors around the time of the disconnects.
Check your power settings! Sometimes your network adapter can go into power saving mode, which might be causing the disconnects. I had a similar issue with my Netgear router that went away once I disabled those power-saving features.
