Why Does My PC Keep Restarting When I Play Siege?

I've recently upgraded my PC with a new Ryzen 5900X CPU and a 6600XT GPU, but I'm facing an issue where my computer restarts right after launching or while playing Rainbow Six Siege. I initially thought it was a cooling issue, so I installed an AIO cooler, which brought my CPU temps down to around 50°C while gaming and 65°C under heavy load, with GPU temps also sitting around 50-60°C. Despite these improvements, the problem kept occurring. I then moved on to replace my PSU from 600W to 850W thinking that might solve the issue, but it's still happening. At this point, the only components I haven't replaced are the motherboard and the GPU, and I'm at a loss for what could be causing the restarts.

From what I've read, if it was fine before but started acting up after the upgrades, you might want to double-check the seating of your GPU and other components. Make sure they're all securely in place.

It sounds like you're dealing with a Kernel Power 41 error, which usually isn't related to cooling or the power supply if those were already replaced. After running MemTest64, getting a BSOD does point towards a potential memory issue, so that's something to keep investigating.

Have you updated your BIOS since installing the new CPU? Sometimes, those updates are crucial for compatibility and stability with newer hardware.

I haven’t updated it yet because I don’t have a flash drive at the moment, but I’ll try to get that sorted out. Right now, I’m leaning towards either a faulty GPU or something else.

You should definitely try running other games to see if the issue persists. I gave Roblox a shot, which is low on graphics, and it worked perfectly, so that gives a hint it could be related to Siege specifically.

Honestly, if it restarts during intensive sessions, there's a chance your GPU could be overheating or failing. That's a common issue, and it might just be that your GPU can't handle the stress anymore.
