Why does my PC keep restarting while playing certain games?

I'm experiencing a frustrating issue where my PC randomly shuts off and restarts while playing specific games like Hitman 3, The Forest, and Prototype 2. Even though Hitman 3 is known to be demanding, I wouldn't expect this from the other two since they run smoothly, even on high settings. I've tried lowering graphics settings, but the restarts still happen after about 10–20 minutes of gameplay. There haven't been any blue screens or error messages, just a sudden shutdown. Here are my specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5-5600, GPU: ASUS Dual Fan RTX3050, PSU: Thermaltake Berlin 750W, RAM: G.Skill DDR4 48GB, Motherboard: ASUS Prime B550-A.

It sounds like you're dealing with some serious restarts. First off, have you considered temperature issues? Overheating can cause your system to shut down to protect itself. I recommend checking your CPU and GPU temperatures while playing those games. You might want to use a tool like MSI Afterburner for that. Also, don’t forget to look into your power supply unit (PSU) because that could be leading to instability.

Totally agree, overheating is a real pain! And a failing PSU can also mess up your system big time.

I checked my temps with Afterburner and both the CPU and GPU sit at around 70°C (158°F). Is that too high?
