I have a problem where my PC shuts down unexpectedly whenever I play games. This happened for the first time about a day ago, and now it consistently turns off after only 3 or 4 minutes of gameplay. I've tried troubleshooting steps including changing the power outlet, toggling my XMP profile, updating drivers, and even swapping out the power cord. I suspect it might be a PSU issue since my CPU and GPU aren't overheating; their temperatures usually stay around 55-65 degrees. Here are my specs: Intel i3 12100F, Radeon 6600 XFX, 48 GB of RAM (mix of 8 GB and 16 GB sticks), EVGA 500 BQ PSU (500 watts), B660M Pro RS motherboard, and I'm running Windows 11. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to run with just the 32 GB of RAM instead of mixing RAM sizes. Mixing RAM modules can cause timing issues, which often leads to stability problems—especially when pushing your system in gaming. Try using just the two 16 GB sticks and see if that helps!
First, you should use a PSU calculator to see if your setup is actually supported by your power supply. Also, check the connections to ensure nothing's loose. A similar issue for me turned out to be a faulty SSD causing random reboots. I’d suggest a fresh install of Windows and maybe give your case a thorough clean to remove any dust.
But keep in mind, the original poster said the PC shuts down completely instead of freezing or blue screening. It seems more likely to be a PSU issue rather than RAM.
