Why does my PC lose sync with the projector when the sewer pump kicks on?

I recently set up a new PC in my basement theater and I'm facing a puzzling issue. Whenever the sewer pump turns on, my PC loses sync with the projector for a second. My setup includes a Benq 1080p DLP projector and a Yamaha 7310 receiver, alongside a Firestick and a mini PC that have been functioning perfectly. This new PC, with an Asus 3060 8GB, seems to be sensitive to fluctuations caused by the sewer pump, but I haven't noticed any major electrical issues in my house otherwise. I've replaced the power supply with a Corsair RM850x, suspecting it might be faulty, but the problem persists. I haven't connected the PC to a different monitor yet, but I'm considering it. Any insights on why this might be happening?

Have you considered trying a different HDMI or DisplayPort cable? Sometimes the quality of the cable can cause sync issues, especially if they aren't well shielded. Also, if possible, connect your PC directly to the projector to see if that helps. There's a chance that the receiver or a specific port could be part of the problem too.

It sounds like you might be dealing with a voltage drop when the sewer pump kicks in. Breaker size doesn’t help reduce voltage drop; that could be why your sensitive PC reacts differently than your other components. If you have access to a UPS, try plugging the PC into it. That might smooth out any inconsistencies in power and could solve your issue.
