Why Does My PC Randomly Fail to Turn On?

I started having issues with my PC after I cleaned it. I forgot to hold the fan while blowing out the dust, and after that, it wouldn't turn on at all when I pressed the power button—no lights or anything. I reseated every component, including the CPU, GPU, power pins, and all cables, and after waiting a while, it turned on. But when I tried to install all 4 RAM sticks, the DRAM and CPU indicator lights activated, and sometimes it wouldn't turn on again. I then tried using just 2 RAM sticks, and after reseating everything, it worked with those. However, when putting the PC into sleep mode, sometimes it wouldn't wake up properly, with the power button light blinking. I often have to reseat all the components again to get it to turn on. There have been rare occasions where it shuts off while I'm using it. So, what's going on with my PC? Could it be a motherboard or power supply issue?

It's possible that your operating system might have some file issues. You can try running the Command Prompt and using the command: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth. This might help fix any underlying software problems that are causing the boot issues.

So you're saying it might not be a hardware issue?

Have you checked if your power cable is loose? Sometimes a simple loose connection can cause these kinds of issues, so it's always a good first step to make sure everything is connected properly.

Absolutely, I always check the cable first.

Have you tried disconnecting everything from your PC (like keyboard, mouse, USB devices, etc.) and holding down the power button for 30 seconds to discharge any static buildup? After that, plug only the power, monitor, keyboard, and mouse back in and see if it boots up normally.

Yeah, it booted normally, but it still happens sometimes. I can't keep taking out all the components every time I power it on.
