Why Does My PC Shut Down When I Play New Games Like Overwatch?

Hey everyone! I'm having an issue with my PC where it seems to run fine during everyday tasks and older games, but whenever I try to launch newer titles like Overwatch, the screen goes dark and the PC shuts down completely. Initially, I get an error message saying, 'Error Applying Update: Unknown Error (0)'. After that, it just shuts down. When I reboot, Windows starts up without any problems. Has anyone experienced something similar, and do you think I should replace the power supply first, maybe with a good quality 650-750W gold unit, or should I try troubleshooting other components?

First things first, I’d run a RAM diagnostic test—something like Memtest86. It could be a faulty RAM stick or a bad overclock that only shows up under certain stress when you're playing heavier games. Definitely worth checking out before making any hardware changes.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll get on that ASAP.
