I've been having a frustrating issue ever since I updated my BIOS. When I game for more than about 30 minutes, my PC becomes really sluggish, almost to the point where it's unusable. This wasn't a problem before the BIOS update. It feels like one of my components starts misbehaving, and after exiting the game, the sluggishness lingers for a minute or so. While gaming, my GPU and CPU temperatures seem fine, but my RAM usage hits around 90%. That wasn't an issue in the past, and my RAM speed is set correctly at 3200MHz. Any suggestions on what might be causing this?

It sounds like high RAM usage could be causing your system to start paging to disk while you're gaming, which would definitely slow things down. Monitoring your CPU clock speeds during these slowdowns might show if it’s throttling.
Have you checked if your motherboard has the latest chipset drivers? After a BIOS update, it’s usually a good idea to reinstall those drivers to ensure everything works smoothly together.
It might be related to overheating issues with your VRMs. BIOS updates can reset fan curves, making it possible for your motherboard’s power delivery to overheat, which could throttle your CPU even if the core temperatures look fine.
