I've been trying to install various Linux distributions on my PC, but it seems to have issues with some of them. Specifically, Linux Mint and Bazzite refuse to work, while Fedora and Arch install without a hitch. Can anyone explain why this might be happening?

If it's your first time installing, don't worry too much! Mint and Bazzite are popular but may not have the best support for your specific hardware setup. You could also consider trying Pop!_OS, as it provides good support for gaming and Nvidia drivers. It might be easier to work with!
Honestly, all the distributions have their quirks. But if you're getting good results with Arch and Fedora, maybe it’s best to stick with those for now! They have a solid reputation for performance and flexibility, especially for more experienced users. Mint has its charm, but sometimes it can be a bit problematic.
Some ISO files can be tricky when written to USB drives. I recommend using software like Etcher to create your bootable drive. It often does a better job than simple methods. Also, check the checksums of the ISOs to make sure they aren't corrupted!
It sounds like you're running into driver issues. The distributions that work well likely have better support for your hardware. The more you tell us about your system and what specifically happens when you try to install Mint or Bazzite, the better we can help you!
I feel you! I had similar issues with my older PC. Some distros can be quite finicky, but the kernel versions can make a big difference. If you're using older versions, upgrading might resolve your issues with Mint, especially since they just released a newer kernel. Give that a shot!
I tried creating a bootable USB stick with Mint, but it just froze during installation.
