I'm a new Linux user who recently tried switching from Gnome on Ubuntu to KDE based on a friend's suggestion. After switching back to Ubuntu, I rebooted my system and was faced with a lock screen that had a mobile keyboard. We disabled SDDM and enabled GDM, but now I'm stuck on a TTY screen and I'm not sure what to do next!

Sounds like a frustrating issue! Just a tip: always include your distro and some hardware info when asking for help! It really helps others to assist you better.
You might want to try running this command: `XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland dbus-run-session gnome-session`. It could help you start the session manually and get past the TTY screen.
