I created a Windows installation media using the tool from Microsoft's website to repair my computer. However, when I boot from the USB drive, the Windows logo appears for just a second, then it shifts to an orange screen with white vertical lines. After I hit enter, the logo briefly shows again before the orange screen returns. I can access the BIOS, but I can't seem to get into my operating system at all. What could be causing this?

Honestly, it might just be bad luck. Sometimes simple repairs can turn into bigger problems. If you’re struggling to access anything beyond the BIOS, it might be worth looking into your hardware or getting professional help.
It sounds like the issue could be related to the hardware rather than the installation media itself. The color change to the orange screen suggests a potential graphics problem. If possible, try recreating the installation media on a different USB drive to rule out any faults with the current one.
