I've been a fan of Doom The Dark Ages since its release. Initially, I was playing at high 1080p settings and getting around 60-70 FPS. However, I recently upgraded to a 1440p 180hz monitor to enhance my gaming experience, but now the game's performance has dropped significantly. I'm only hitting about 50 FPS with the same settings at 1440p FSR quality. I even tried lowering the resolution and settings, which only got me back to 60 FPS, but I can't seem to go beyond that. It feels capped, and I've confirmed that VSync is off with no FPS limiters in the settings. My PC specs are RX 6800, Ryzen 7 5700, 24GB RAM DDR4 3200MHZ, and SSD NVME 1 TB. Since my GPU is recommended for high settings at 1440p, I'm baffled by this drop in performance.

It sounds like the game might have ray tracing enabled by default now, which can really strain your GPU. Try resetting your settings and see if that helps. Your RX 6800 can usually handle 70-75 FPS at those settings, so it's odd to see it drop so drastically.
I get what you're saying; it can be super frustrating! If you haven't already, double-check for any updates that might improve performance. It’s possible that some background processes or settings got changed during your upgrade. Just to confirm, are you sure you're not running any additional graphics enhancements that might be throttling your FPS?
