Why is my Bazzite system stuck in emergency mode after deleting a drive?

Hey folks! I was trying to format one of my extra drives for use with Linux, but I couldn't do it directly in Linux. So, I went ahead and deleted the partitions from Windows. Now, my Bazzite system is booting into emergency mode, giving me the message "cannot open access to console, the root account is locked." I'm confused because I didn't mess with the boot drive at all. The only thing I can think of that might've caused this is the fact that the drive I deleted was mounted in Bazzite. I really need help with this because I'd like to avoid reinstalling everything!

It sounds like you accidentally removed the EFI partition associated with your system. When you're installing or formatting drives, make sure you're not touching the EFI partition, as it's crucial for booting. In the future, pay extra attention to which partitions you're working with!

The drive I deleted had nothing to do with the OS – it was a completely different drive.
