Hey everyone! A few days ago, I noticed something strange with my boyfriend's location on his Apple device. While he was at work, it showed him in a random neighborhood about 10 minutes from his job, with a timestamp saying it was from an hour ago. I refreshed the location, and it corrected to show he was back at work. I thought it might be a glitch, but it was oddly timed with his break, and I wondered if he had gone somewhere during that time, though he insists he didn't. Then today, I checked again, and it was placing him on the freeway in some brush, which was quite concerning. Even after refreshing, it kept showing him in that spot. I called his workplace to ensure he made it there safely, which he did, and he confirmed his phone is with him at work. I'm puzzled as to why this is happening. Is anyone else having issues with Apple's location sharing feature?

If his phone has a good GPS signal, then FindMy should work accurately. It's worth checking if he was in an area with sufficient signal that day. But seriously, why are you checking so often? Just wondering!
I'm more worried about why you're constantly tracking his location. That feels a bit intense, don’t you think? Trust is super important in a relationship!
GPS accuracy can fluctuate for various reasons, like how the phone connects to cell towers or Wi-Fi networks. Sometimes, if your boyfriend's iPhone is in a tricky spot, like near big buildings or moving quickly, the location may seem off temporarily. It’s not uncommon for iOS to behave a bit weirdly with locations too. I checked my own phone, and even though I was on Wi-Fi, my location suddenly showed me in a park across the street. It's really not a perfect system!
Exactly! Plus, if it loses GPS signal, it might switch to less accurate methods to determine location, which can sometimes lead to odd results.
Right? If there are no safety concerns, it might be better to give him space and trust his whereabouts.
