I've had my PC for about two years now, and I'm not really tech-savvy. My main issue is that my C disk is almost always completely full, but I can't figure out what's taking up all the space. I primarily use my computer for gaming and mainly use Steam. The disk has around 200 GB of space, but Steam says I'm only using 40 GB for its files, with the rest (170 GB) being filled with 'random stuff.' I don't download anything outside of Steam, so I'm hoping someone can help me identify what's taking up the space and how to remove it. I've tried looking through my disk, but I either can't see it or I just don't know how to find it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

If you’re using Windows 10 or 11, hit up your Temp folder. Just go to the Start menu, type %temp%, and press Enter. You'll find a bunch of temporary files there. Sometimes it's just a few MB, but other times I've seen it balloon to 100 GB!
True! That’s one of those easy wins for making space!
Running Disk Cleanup could do wonders for your space issue. You'd be surprised at how much 'junk' can be cleaned off your drive. Just run it and see what it offers up for deletion!
You might want to try using tools like WinDirStat or TreeSize. They help you visualize what's on your disk and show you where the space is being used. That way, you can see exactly what files or folders are taking up most of the space.
Check out a program called TreeSize. It's really handy and can explain what's going on with your storage. It's worth a shot!
Yeah, it’s crazy how much can pile up in there! Definitely worth checking.
