Hey everyone, I'm having a major issue with my C: drive. It seems like the available space is vanishing rapidly! Just the other day, I freed up about 5 GB by deleting some files, but somehow that space was gone within minutes. To make matters worse, I've noticed that as I was downloading some geo data from a university databank, the drive filled up again without any clear explanation. Is it safe for me to reboot my computer? I really need some urgent assistance with this. Thanks a lot!

You should check out a program called Jam Treesize. It can help identify what’s using up all your disk space. Once you install it, it’ll give you a detailed view of the files and folders taking up space on your drive. Let me know if you need help using it!
Ok, I installed it. What do I do with it now?
You might want to disable hibernation on your system. It can eat up a lot of space on the drive. Also, checking how much space your pagefile uses could help—there are guides that explain how to manage virtual memory in Windows 11. Let me know if you need links to those!
Does hibernation do this even when the computer is running normally?
It sounds like you might have a plugin issue. One user found that a qgis plugin they were using was creating a massive loop and writing tons of temp data. I’d suggest checking any recent plugins you installed that could be causing this.

Can it show me what's writing the data?
