Last night, I jumped on my computer to play games with friends, but everything slowed down unexpectedly, especially Roblox and other browser games. While apps like YouTube still run fine, I notice lower performance overall. Everything was working perfectly just a day before. I've looked into some possibilities like outdated drivers and hardware acceleration issues, but my drivers are up to date, and I can't find a hardware acceleration setting in Windows 11. I'm not very tech-savvy, so I'd appreciate any help with this issue or suggestions before considering a trip to the store.

Try pressing Alt+Ctrl+Del to open the task manager and see if any processes are using a lot of CPU. It’s also possible that you downloaded some malware by mistake. You might want to check your temperatures with CPUID. If your PC is running hot, it’s a good idea to clean out any dust in the case!
Have you checked if there was a Windows update installed recently? Sometimes updates can cause slowdowns. And honestly, the Geek Squad at Best Buy isn't always the best solution or the cheapest, so maybe we can figure this out without going there.
