I've got this Windows 10 PC that keeps mysteriously losing disk space, and I can't figure out why. Recently, I was down to less than 22MB free on my C drive, so I cleared up 10GB just three days ago, but now I'm back down to only 70MB of free space! I checked the OS settings, and there's no indication that any folders have been modified recently. I'm really at a loss here. Also, I just noticed that after some weird zoom issue that required a restart, I have about 6GB free now, but I still don't understand what's going on.

You might want to run a WizTree scan. It helps find out exactly what's taking up space on your hard drive. Sometimes, it can reveal large files or folders you didn't even know were there!
Don’t forget about the pagefile.sys! It’s Windows' way of managing virtual memory. If your RAM runs low, this file can fluctuate in size, potentially using up disk space unexpectedly.
Check if you have any services like OneDrive or another cloud service that syncs files automatically. Sometimes, these can take up disk space unexpectedly with their caching processes.
Have you tried using WinDirStat? It's a classic tool for visualizing disk space usage and can help you track down what's eating up your storage.
Thanks for the suggestion! I noticed I regain some space after restarts, but I'm still below where I should be.
