Why is my email content only showing in the corner of the screen in New Outlook?

Hey everyone,

I'm having a bit of a weird issue with **New Outlook for Windows**. When I open an email, often the content only takes up about **1/4 of the screen**, stuck in the top-left corner, even though the application is maximized. The rest of the space remains blank, and it doesn't seem to scale properly.

I've tried a bunch of troubleshooting steps:

* Resetting the Outlook view
* Creating a new Outlook profile
* Installing Outlook on a **new PC**
* Reinstalling Office
* Checking my display scaling and resolution settings

Unfortunately, nothing's working. This issue happens sporadically and doesn't affect every email. Sometimes just reopening the email seems to help, but not always. I've even shared a link to another post detailing this problem.

Has anyone else encountered this in New Outlook or have any tips? Thanks in advance!

You might want to try updating or rolling back your video driver. Sometimes compatibility issues with graphics drivers can cause strange display problems.

You could try running a PowerShell command to reset some settings, but I doubt that will fix this issue since it’s likely related to display settings.

I appreciate the idea, but as someone familiar with PowerShell, I'm not sure this will actually help in this situation!

Hey! Are you using a 4k display? I heard that Office has been a bit glitchy with scaling on those. It might be worth checking Microsoft's support page for high definition displays for some tips.

I can confirm the user isn't on a 4K setup, but it’s still a good idea to check any scaling settings!

Yeah, scaling issues can definitely happen with 4K. Also, try adjusting the DPI settings!
